CHAC Gallery Display
A selection of my artwork will be on display the CHAC (Chicano Humanities & Arts Council) Gallery in downtown Denver for the entire month of July. Come by anytime during business hours or try visiting during "First Friday" (July 3rd) for the monthly street festival. [ 772 Santa Fe Drive, Denver CO ]
It's a changing world, and soon it will become a homogeneous world. I don't much care for that idea, so I'm trying to see different cultures and unspoiled lands while they still exist. Along the way I'll be snapping photos for you all to enjoy. The subjects of my work are all photographed from my own hand, though the end result doesn't always look like a photo. I try to cover a broad variety of subjects and content. My philosophy is to keep moving and put yourself into new and interesting places to see what shows itself. Oddly enough many of my best shots come from a simple pocket camera instead of my "big gun".
Hmmmmmmmmm, Actually it's not odd at all since the best shots are not planned but stumbled upon. While some people are willing to lug around their gear everywhere they go, I am not. The mere presence of a large camera being pulled out causes the spontaneity around you to break down (plus I'm just too lazy) Often my shots are "from the hip" so the subject is unaware I'm even taking a photo.
